I am about to begin my Masters project on Tuesday which will be doing something interesting using Java3D.
I have put up a blog to keep track of my progess.
I’m one of many Joe Wright’s and I currently dwell in Glasgow, Scotland. I work as a software developer for JPMorgan and previously the Scottish Qualifications Authority. I mainly use Ruby, Java, Bash and any automation tools I can get my hands on.

I used to be heavily into Gentoo Linux but since finishing my Bachelors and Masters in Computing at the University of Aberdeen I haven't found the time. I can usually be found hacking on side projects, writing songs on guitar or enjoying a fine Islay single malt. I'm happy to say this fascination has now manifested as a Single Malt Guide
