Hohohoho,

I was not amused when I looked at my logs this month to see that 1.4GB of my transfer allowance was used on a single image. A little bit of detective work allowed me to figure out some guy was using it as his avatar on a forum linking directly to my site (i.e. I was paying for his avatar to be displayed).

I had to sign up to the forum in question to find who was using it. So a little pondering and a google search and I had all I need. A quick rename of the image he was linking to to a new image and everything was in place. Just time for a small post on his forum:

Which meant his profile then displayed:

And just to check one of his 4000+ posts (he posts 6 times a day apparently):

Loooking around the Internet for a cool avatar…….. 30 minutes
Bandwidth to send said avatar to your mates……….. 1.4GB
Having all your peers think you’ve turned gay……… priceless

Seems the guy has a sense of humour. I suppose he must do to like wrestling!
